Plain language, because you should be able to read this. Using Scoreyo means you accept what is below.
What Scoreyo is
Scoreyo is an app for iPhone that keeps score for games you play in person. It is provided as it is, for personal use.
Your matches belong to you
Everything you put into the app is yours. Match names, side names, players and scores stay on your device, and in your own private iCloud if you have it switched on. It is never sold, shared or used for anything, and it cannot be read by anyone else. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Because your matches live on your device rather than on a server, keeping them is your responsibility. Deleting the app deletes them. iCloud backup is offered to help with that, and it is free, but it depends on your own iCloud account and available storage.
Buying Pro
Scoreyo is free to use. Two optional purchases unlock the Pro features:
- Week Pass. Every Pro feature for seven days from the moment of purchase. It does not renew, it creates no recurring charge, and there is nothing to cancel. Access simply ends after seven days, and nothing you created is deleted or hidden when it does.
- Lifetime. Every Pro feature for as long as the app exists, for a single payment. There is no subscription.
All payments are handled by Apple, not by us. Prices are shown by Apple in your local currency before you confirm. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored from the paywall on any device signed in to that same Apple ID.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple grants a refund, Pro access ends and the app returns to the free tier.
What we will not do
We will not put advertising in Scoreyo, and we will not turn it into a subscription. Anything that is free today stays free. If the app ever changes hands, that promise goes with it.
Fair use
Do not try to break, reverse engineer, or resell the app, and do not use it to do anything illegal. That is the whole list.
Availability
The app is provided without a warranty of any kind. It may contain bugs, and features can change between versions as it improves. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it, including lost match data.
That said, if something goes wrong, write in. Bugs get fixed.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the app means the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be handled in its courts.
